Hotdog!!

Jonathan's 9 month apt

Pretty uneventful but I was happy to go and check out his stats. He is now 20.4 lbs and 30 inches, 50% for weight and 90% for height, he is a looong boy and his stats have been pretty regular for a while. So we're happy. :) We can now try:
Yogurt
Cheese
Vanilla icecream
Similac Advance (non-soy)
the gerber crackers and snacks are all good options.

He got one shot only and behaved pretty good with it and everything else seems great! Oh the little rash he gets behind his knees can be taken care of with Cortisone, instead of the Petrolium Jelly I was putting.

YAY for a growing healthy boy! I love him to bits and pieces <3

Little Beach Boy

Memorial weekend started (and lasted) with lots of rain down in the MIA. Due to this, we did a lot of indoor activities but on monday around 10:30 the sun shined down on us and we quickly grab our gear and went out to the beach. Jonathan had been there the week before but this time he got to feel the sand and the water was a lot clearer. Here are some pics of my little beach baby!!

Yesterday I was advised that Jonathan had stood up in his crib at Tati's house. WOW! I couldn't believe it but thought that once they lowered the mattress it would be harder for him to do it again. Well low and behold when i call today again to check up on him she tells me he stood up AGAIN. Mind you, the kid has not yet crawled - at all - but won't miss out on the fun when he's put in his crib. LOL. When he wants something he sure will find a way to get it, good going Little one!! Now do it at home so mama can take a picture!!

and then he said... "MAMA!"

Thats right, my baby boy finally said it! MAMA, i was sooo excited to hear it. We have been practicing for months now and finally out of the blue he looks at me and says MAMA. my heart melted.. plus we beat PAPA lol. He has said Dada but since we are trying to teach him the spanish version "Papa" it doesn't *really* count. :)
